Anyone else see the "Store Closing" banner on a tractor at Maple Mountain Equipment across from the mall entrance?  I take it MME is closing?

I haven't been in that place since it was Moore's.

Used to be a good place to purchase doors, windows and trim but it went down hill. Was in there last month and walked right back out. Another empty building in All co

I am happy that the John Deere operation will continue. I have always received excellent service retail store and fine products from the brand.

I have 6 doors from there in my 100 year old rehabbed house - I love the natural wood finish (covered with poly-eurothane) and will miss the flooring deals as well.

Hmmmm...this is odd news. I didn't see the sign, so my husband and I went in today to see what they had left in stock and to inquire about where to take our John Deere for service once they close. The guy said we'd have to go to Altoona, Oakland, or some other PA town (can't recall where). Also, my husband asked how much more they'd drop the prices on the John Deere equipment in stock. The guys said that was as far as it would be dropped, and unsold stock would be re-distributed to other dealerships. It didn't sound like the John Deere part was staying open.

All aspects of the business will be closing December 29th.

A company based out of Arizona bought the building, and the land. Heard this from a inside source.
