How to use E-Bay ?
« on: April 14, 2012, 12:28:33 PM »
My family has a Hearing Aid that is less than 5 months old (used 3 times) that we need to sell. The dealer said that it is in mint condition with remote + other features.
We would like to try E-Bay but have never used this before.  Can anyone give us some instructions

  Thanks

First you have to register, then pay a listing fee and ebay also takes a percentage of your sales.  I can't really recommend it to you because- you will have no record of having prior successful sales,or RATING, and the buyers will be wary of bidding on your item.   But I'm not certain of the market for hearing aids.  I know the markup on a new hearing aid is very high and the price based on the actual technology should be similar to a pair of glasses.

Do you have any suggestions as to how to advertise these ?

My son-in-law passed last week & the aids were only used about 3 days  but the 30 day return had expired when we asked about it.  He had an aneursym so it was nothing contagious & he used ear phones when he watched T.V.     It is a Deluxe set & the only thing (We were told)that would have to be done is to adjust the tone for the "new" owner.

  Thanks
