Spike Lee should be sued by the old couple for retweeting the address to over 250,000 people.  He is a public figure and should do some research before posting anything.  What an idiot!!!

He shouldnt be posting the address at all! It amazes me how people decide(spec. Sharpton and Lee)who is guilty and make themselves judge and jury enough to publicly out a supposed address....this whole case is outta hand.

And I call BS on Spike Lee's so called apology (http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/03/29/spike-lees-incorrect-tweet-causes-elderly-couple-to-flee-home/): "I want justice, not a lynch mob. Wake the he## up.” Uh, what kind of justice did he think he was going to achieve by re-tweeting an address he assumed belonged to Zimmerman?

Didn't Spike Lee agree to pay the couple a legal settlement for their troubles?

If he did I haven't heard anything about that.

Plus he did not apologise for tweeting. He apologised for tweeting the WRONG address.
Is there anybody out there?

Yes, 4 days ago he reached a legal settlement with the couple.  Do a search on Spike Lee and settlement.  He is also in hot water with twitter for violating TOS.  So do you have a problem with anti-abortion kooks who post the names and addresses of medical personell to be targeted?

I agree and its a terrible thing that Spike Lee did, even if he had the address right- these parents have no control over what their son did, other than that they may  have protected him from being resposible for previous infractions.

It is my understanding that the address wasn't the parents of the correct Zimmerman...

Right, maybe Spike Lee was trying to demonstrate the irony of vigilantism.
